Westchester Country Club Squash
In 2015, the Westchester Country Club Squash Facility celebrated its 10th anniversary. Over this time, the program has seen much success. The Club has a state of the art facility with six singles courts and one doubles court. We regularly host National Junior Ranking Tournaments along with Pro Events. Seeing top Pro players at the Club is a regular occurrence with four former World Champions having played on the WCC courts.

Our Members have plenty of opportunities to play squash throughout the season with Free Introductory Lessons for beginners and Round Robins for the more experienced. Competitive events are also available for singles and doubles.

In 2018, Westchester welcomed Natalie Grainger as Squash Pro. Natalie has a lifetime in the sport of squash. She attained the #1 ranking in the world in 2003, she holds three U.S. Open Titles, six U.S. National Individual Titles, and multiple World and U.S. National Doubles Titles. She also won the exciting and prestigious Tournament of Champions at Grand Central Station in 2007 and 2008!

While Natalie was born in England, she is a native of South Africa, where her parents built and managed a squash and fitness center. She represented South Africa in competition until she received her US Citizenship in February 2007, and a month later she won her first U.S. National Title to qualify for Team USA and the Pan American Games held in Brazil that summer. She brought home the Individual Gold Medal and helped Team USA win the Silver in the team event.

Natalie touches every aspect of the game, and is passionate about the sport and inspiring people to play and get involved. She became a U.S. National Junior Coach in 2002, shortly after permanently moving the United States, and took that team to Egypt for the 2003 World Junior Championships. She again set off with the Junior Women’s Team in 2005 to Belgium, and in 2011 to Boston, where the women finished a record #2 behind Egypt. She has represented the U.S. Women’s Team all over the globe – New Zealand, Guatemala, Canada, Egypt, France, Argentina, Equador and Brazil, while she was competing as one of the best female players on the planet!

Natalie took on off-court roles with zeal, she was President of the Women’s World Tour for eight years, and she joined the board of Squash Haven in 2009, an inner-city youth squash and educational program housed at Yale University, that provides enrichment and helps at risk children to finish school and enroll in college.

Natalie is assisted by Clive Leach and Andrea (Andy) Echeverria. Clive Leach from Birmingham, England is a former top 30 singles player in the World and in 2015 was World Doubles Champion. Clive's focus is to provide high paced drills for our juniors and adults and share his vast experience on the singles and doubles courts. Andy Echeverria from El Salvador has been at the WCC for the last 4 years and studied psychology at Trinity College and was part of the National Championship winning team before joining the Club. Andy provides plenty of fun in her classes for our younger players, specializing in fundamental coordination exercises and also oversees our Women's Squash Program.

The WCC Squash program offers activities for all levels from beginner to advanced. Please call the Racquets Desk @ (914) 798 5608.

We look forward to seeing you at the Squash courts!
